Personnel The Department of Personnel is headed by the Home Secretary,
who is the Secretary Personnel. The Department is entrusted
with the following functions.
- Examination and advisory functions relating to framing/
amendment of Recruitment Rules for group 'A', 'B', 'C',
& 'D' employees including autonomous bodies of Basti
(U.P.)
Administration.
- Policy instructions regarding grant of benefits to Ex-Servicemen,
taking officers/officials on deputation in U.T., Basti
(U.P.),
Grant of LTC, Compassionate appointments etc.
- Tendering advices on service matters relating to employees
of U.T. of Basti (U.P.).
- Reservation policy for SC/ST/OBC in recruitment/promotions
in U.T., Basti (U.P.).
- Cases relating to Conditions of Service of U.T. employees.
- Policy instructions regarding applicability of Rules (Punishment
& Appeal Rules/ Conduct Rules)
