Administrative Setup

The Basti District is divided in four sub district (Tehsil) Basti sadar, Rudhauli, Bhanpur, and harraiya for revenue collection and ensure  low and order, there are 17 thana (police station) in the district.  For monitoring the development in rural area there are 14 development blocks in district. and Five town area belongs in the district.
